Starborough

Marlborough, New Zealand, New Zealand

In 1865, William Jones came to Marlborough from England looking for a farm and a brighter future. Four generations later Starborough Farming Co. continues the farming tradition where arable crops and livestock run alongside estate vineyards. Today the Jones family own vineyards in three unique locations in Marlborough’s celebrated Wairau and Awatere valleys, this includes the original Starborough sheep station homestead block from which their wine is named. Producing wines of integrity is important to the Jones Family. All fruit for the four varieties of wine, (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir), is sourced from 100% estate vineyards, reflecting the pure fresh and focused flavours of Marlborough’s special terroir.
