Fifth generation vigneron Domenic Torzi has been crafting wines in South Australia for more than three decades, earning a reputation for producing expressive, site-driven wines that showcase the best of the Barossa and Eden Valleys. Drawing on his Italian heritage, Domenic combines traditional winemaking values with a thoughtful, minimal intervention approach, allowing each vineyard and vintage to speak for itself. He works closely with carefully selected vineyard sites, including his Mt McKenzie vineyard in Eden Valley, producing wines with purity, balance and a strong sense of place. Alongside classic Barossa varieties such as Shiraz and Grenache, Domenic has been a long-time champion of Mediterranean varieties through his Vigna Cantina range, inspired by the wines and food culture of southern Italy. Today, under the Domenic Torzi name, he continues to produce handcrafted wines that reflect his family's winemaking heritage, his passion for sustainable viticulture and his commitment to authenticity and quality.
