Lawson’s Dry Hills was founded by Ross and Barbara Lawson, who planted their original vineyard in 1980 and launched the label in 1992. Based in Marlborough, the winery is known for producing expressive, regionally distinctive wines from estate-grown fruit across the Wairau, Waihopai, Omaka and Awatere Valleys. The portfolio includes Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and the signature Gewürztraminer. Each vineyard site is carefully selected for its unique soil and microclimate, providing a diverse palette of flavours and structure that shape the Lawson’s style. The small, hands-on team is involved in every step of the viticulture and winemaking process. With a strong focus on quality and character, the wines aim to capture the essence of both place and variety, brought to life with a genuine sense of care and passion.
