Fallen Giants vineyard was planted in 1969 on the eastern slopes of the Grampians ranges in Western Victoria. For a long time a grower for Seppelts & Penfolds, the vineyard was purchased by the late great Trevor Mast in the mid 1990’s and subsequently became a Mount Langi Ghiran vineyard. In 2014 it was purchased by Aaron Drummond (half of Circe Wines) and a new chapter has begun. High elevation, old vines and ancient rocky soils have kept yields low but always delivered incredible quality. 23 acres under vine with a predominance of Shiraz, but a small paddock of old Riesling & Cabernet. The Single vineyard wines of the Estate are labelled Fallen Giants in reference to the dreamtime stories about the creation of the mountains.
